How to cut wrong-fit wheel returns

Most wrong-fit returns start on mobile: the shopper cannot tell if a 20x9 +18 will clear their fender. Filter the catalog to the vehicle before they add to cart.

A wrong-fit return is a wheel or tire sent back because it did not mount on the shopper’s vehicle — usually a bolt pattern, offset or load-rating mismatch that the storefront did not block.

Stop showing what does not fit

If a SKU fails year/make/model or spec check, do not display it for that vehicle. Hiding is cheaper than a return label on a 20-inch wheel.

Handle more than YMM

Vehicle match is not enough for wheels. Offset, bolt pattern and hub bore have to be in the filter, or shoppers still guess.

Make it work on a phone

Wheel traffic is mostly mobile. The selector has to be tappable, with the vehicle sticky while they browse. That is a conversion feature, not a decoration.
